Lactation services

At Northwest Pediatric Center we support mothers at every point in their breastfeeding experience from birth through weaning.  We are committed to working with all breastfeeding mothers including those who are fully breastfeeding, partially breastfeeding, supplementing with formula or for those who are exclusively pumping.

Common concerns that we address:

  • Slow weight gain
  • Latching problems
  • Low milk supply
  • Pain with nursing
  • Mastitis
  • Clogged ducts
  • Tongue tie
  • Pumping
  • Jaundice
  • Prematurity
In addition to the common concerns listed above we are available to help with a wide range of breastfeeding concerns, including nursing the infant with special health care needs, infants requiring elimination diets and helping mothers determine if medications are safe to use while nursing. Please contact our office for a lactation appointment for any of your breastfeeding concerns.
