LeAnn Crowell, RD, CD

LeAnn, our staff dietician, offers personalized intervention for nearly all of your child’s medical nutrition needs. Good nutrition is a cornerstone to raising healthy children, but ensuring its success can sometimes feel overwhelming.

LeAnn counsels parents and their children about important nutritional concerns, including:

  • Weight concerns
  • Picky eating
  • Sports nutrition
  • Food allergies
  • Vitamin and mineral deficiencies
  • GI conditions
  • Vegan/vegetarian diets
  • Abnormal nutrition-related labs
  • Values (elevated
    cholesterol, triglycerides, etc.)

Visits with the dietician include a comprehensive assessment of your child’s nutritional and medical histories, and developing a family plan for healthy eating. We schedule follow-up visits according to the needs of your child. If your child is not a patient at Northwest Pediatric Center, they can be referred to our dietician either by self-referral or by their provider.

About LeAnn:

LeAnn has been a Registered Dietitian for more than 20 years, working with both children and adults. Using a person-centered and family-centered approach to support individual health goals, her focus is on overall wellness. LeAnn is a proponent of Health At Every Size and believes in developing eating and activity patterns that are sustainable for a lifetime. She is passionate about helping people connect with food, and loves working with kids and watching them grow!

She worked in several regions of the U.S. while her husband was in the service, leading to her love of nature and the outdoors. She is thrilled to be back in Lewis County, serving in the community where she grew up.

When she isn’t working, LeAnn spends time working on their family farm or exploring the glorious nature found in the Pacific Northwest. And, when the weather isn’t as welcoming, she enjoys spending time with her family at home.
