Dana has been with Northwest Pediatric Center since 2002. Prior to completing her Masters Degree in Pediatric Nurse Practitionership, she gained extensive pediatric experience working as a staff nurse in the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh organ transplant unit and as a home health nurse caring for chronically and terminally ill children. She also completed a graduate student fellowship relating to interdisciplinary management of children with developmental disabilities.
A Chicago native, Dana loves the opportunities found in the Pacific Northwest, where she indulges her passion for the outdoors with sea kayaking, snowshoeing, backpacking, photojournalism, photography, hiking, and mountaineering. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Tronie Foundation, traveling internationally to contribute photojournalism pieces dealing with human trafficking. Dana and her husband Aaron live in Olympia.
