Personal Interests
For many years, Dr. Miller has regarded his medical practice as a ministry. After finishing his pediatric residency training in Colorado, Dr. Miller served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps and then worked for Kaiser-Permanente in Northern California for 18 years. Thereafter, he did medical ministry in the Appalachian region of eastern Kentucky for five years.

In 1992, he moved to Centralia where he and Dr. Jennifer Polley founded Northwest Pediatric Center. Being a member of this practice has allowed Dr. Miller to minister with like-minded providers, all of whom participate in short term missions, bringing care and hope to the poor and disenfranchised children of the world. For the past several years, Dr. Miller and his wife Jane have traveled to Ukraine, where they annually volunteered their services to an orphanage. More recently, their hearts have been increasingly directed to serving in the Middle East.
