About Me

Dr Murphy is a part of the NWPC team as a behavioral health specialist. She worked in California for a while with at- risk youth and families and overall community mental health to help build healthier communities for children. Then she moved back to Washington and worked with King County Juvenile Court and military families at Madigan Army Medical Center before joining the Northwest Pediatrics team in 2017. Dr Murphy knows addressing mental health concerns is hard work and can be scary, but she is passionate about working with families through tough situations so patients and families can build resiliency and thrive here in Lewis County.

Dr. Murphy grew up in the Pacific Northwest and loves the outdoors, including running, hiking and horseback riding. She and her husband have two children they can often be found outside, enjoying the beauty of Washington with their dogs. And if you have a dog training tip, she’d love to hear it!
